- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds (or other nut)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Later add-ins:
- 1/4 cup dried chopped fruit (chopped dried apricots, raisins, or dried cranberries)
Preheat oven to 255 F
Line pan with parchment paper
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the oats, nuts, cinnamon (or vanilla), honey, and melted butter. Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the granola is lightly browned. Add fruit. Bake for about 5 to 10 mins. When fully cooled, store in an airtight container.
